Copam CP-2500 Plotter help
I recently bought a Copam CP-2500 Plotter to try my hand at vinyl signage and decals. When I bought the machine it didn't come with any cutting software so I'm clueless what the best or most reasonable would be to use. I'm currently using CS3 design programs on a Windows platform, and using Windows 7 if that helps. Someone told me you can export outlines straight from Illustrator CS3; is that true. I hope I don't sound to clueless, this is all new to me.
I'm using a mac and doing my design/layouts with Illustrator CS3. I'm using SignCut Pro (subscription) to drive my graphtec plotter. SignCut supports Copam plotters and includes a plugin for illustrator to export to the cutting program .... works great for me.

@sinetist....... Is SignCut user friendly for a novice like me?
It's strictly a cutting program ... nothing too complicated to figure out. They have a free, full version, one week trial for download. Download the trial, set it up for your plotter and see what you think. .......... http://www.signcutpro.com/
